City

A Fourth City is a city built on an empty plain.

"King Arthur has declared that all his servants may now build a Fourth City! In order for you to build your Fourth City, you must prove your worth by gathering 4 Sir Kay's Crests, 3 Sir Bedivere's Crests, and 1 Sir Gawain's Crest. Please read below for info on Crest Drops when attacking wilderness."

Getting the Fourth City Deed

Once you have acquired:

  • 4 Sir Kay's Crests
  • 3 Sir Bedivere's Crests
  • 1 Sir Gawain's Crest

you can fulfill your Fourth City Deed Quest and earn your Fourth City Deed. If you wish to speed up the process, you may buy the Knight's Chest in the Chest section of the Shop to fulfill a portion of your Crest needs. It may take multiple Knight’s Chests to earn the crests you need. Once purchased, the Chest will appear in My Items under Chest.

Once you have collected all required crests, Check Quests to obtain your Fourth City Deed. After fulfilling the 4th City Deed Quest, all crests needed for that quest will disappear. The deed will be located in My Items under Court.

Obtaining Crests

To win a Crest, you must win an attack against an unowned Wilderness of level 5-10.

You do not have to conquer it, only be victorious in the battle. These Crests will not always be rewarded, but only when Arthur takes note of your achievement. (When defeating a Wilderness there is only a percentage chance of a Crest drop.)

If a Wilderness does not have all of its Troops (it has been attacked in the last hour), you will have a lesser chance of winning a Crest.

Higher levels of wilderness have greater chances of winning crests. Bors crests are easier to get than Ectors, and Bors and Ectors are both easier to get than Kay's.

See Crest_Drop_Research for more information on crest dropping (that is, the frequency and location of crest finds).

Picking a spot

Please see Second City for tips on placing your city. of course lvl 1 plains are the best to build a new city on, because you don't have to worry about traps and there are not many troops either. We suggest building it in another province so you can control more markets and/or build it near a fellow alliance member so you can help each other; but there is also value in having it not far from your other cities so that you can quickly move resources and units between them.
